Who is this guy?
The first thing you should know about me is that I’m the oldest of three boys, since that’s the first thing I knew about myself. I was the peacemaker of a family that got flung across the country and broken apart by the financial crisis. Because of that, I know three things:
Bad things will happen unless you take steps to avoid them
It’s a terrible idea to make greed your main purpose in life
Our authority figures are just making it up as they go like everyone else.
I graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder with a BA in Environmental Studies in the winter of 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. A year and a half of odd jobs and Starbucks barista-ing later, I had found a position at an air emissions testing company. I’m an environmental scientist who’s been to 12 power plants, 5 cement furnaces, 2 steel mills, 2 natural gas distribution nodes, and a glass recycler. I spent a year showing up at 5AM in my hard hat and high vis to stand at the top of 100+ ft stacks for twelve hours moving around 1000 degree steel tubes to make sure corporations aren’t poisoning the air you breathe.
Then in the spring of 2023, I was fired due to whistleblower retaliation by the oil industry.
Allegedly, it’s my belief that it’s someone’s job at the Suncor refinery to read month-old reddit comments looking for contractors to illegally silence. I refused to be defeated, got myself through the summer with more odd jobs and Doordash driving, and began studying for my MS in Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Denver that fall.
During my time at DU, I’ve held a position as a research assistant at the wastewater lab, interned with Denver Water in 2024, and also work as a substitute teacher for Aurora Public Schools.
I want to talk about my experience subbing for just a moment. My job is to try to make a welcoming environment for learning in the community that the Trump Regime has singled out by name for persecution. The Regime owes the people of Aurora and the Denver Metro as a whole a fucking apology. I know first-hand that the people that the Regime’s secret police are targeting aren’t gangsters, they’re scared 14-year-old girls with no other place to call home.
Then this spring, Elon and RFK Jr decided that they didn’t want you to know what’s in the water. So once again, my professional career was derailed by malicious conservatives who want the truth to be whatever the richest man says it is.
No more. I’m running so that the people of Denver can show Washington how wrong it is. We’re going to show the country that we trust each other enough to value science and expertise. We’re going to show the country that we will not throw the most vulnerable under the bus because it’s convenient for our donors. We’re going to tell the political insiders who have ignored the needs of working people for decades that their way is wrong.
We’re going to show the country that we’re ready to take the future back
So, Colorado district 1. I’ve made your lattes, delivered your food, taught your kids, tested the air you breathe, and the pathogens in your wastewater. Let me represent you in Washington so I can let them know what we really think here in Denver.

Outside of politics, I’m a huge nerd and a proud member of the neurodiverse community. The worst Kennedy can go ahead and put me right at the top of his list. And like many Americans, I celebrate an interracial heritage from my Filipino great-grandfather.
I love a good strategy game, and you can usually find me at the coffeeshop getting over-caffeinated with a book on my Saturday mornings. I consistently outski the tourists. I play trombone, and will always remember my four years in the CU Golden Buffalo Marching Band as one of the highlights of my life.
